Northern Ireland, June 2005 : Giants Causeway

Giants Causeway on the Northwest coast of Ireland includes millennia-old, octagonal rock formations that supposedly looked like a fortress to Spanish ships. We visited on a misty weekday, walking along the country's edge after a breakfast of tea and scones.
